5. Remove four screws [1], and evacuate the DF lower guide assy [2].

6. Remove the screw [1], and remove the ground wire from the edge cover [2].
7. Disconnect the connector [3], and remove the harness from the wire saddle [4]
and the edge cover [2].

8. Remove the E-ring [1], and remove the document registration clutch [2].
9. To reinstall, reverse the order of removal.
4.6Fan motor
4.6.1Machine cooling fan (FM1)
1. Remove the rear cover.

2. Remove the DC power supply.

3. Remove the harness from two wire saddles [1], and disconnect the connector
[2].

4. Remove two screws [1].
5. Remove the claw [2] from the hole [3] in the main body, and remove the
machine cooling fan assy [4].
