Trouble detection condition A condition is detected in which no power is being supplied to the base board (BASEB).
Trouble isolation -
Relevant electrical parts • Front door sensor (PS1)
• Right door sensor (PS2)
• Front door switch (SW2)
• Right door switch (SW5)
• DC power supply (DCPS)
• CPU board (CPUB)
• Base board (BASEB)
Procedure
1. Check the connector between PS1, PS2-BASEB CN16E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
2. Check the connector between SW2, SW5-relay CN36-DCPS CN3 for proper connection and correct as necessary.
3. Check the connector between DCPS CN4-BASEB CN3E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
4. Check the connector between DCPS CN6-BASEB CN1E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
5. Check CPUB for proper installation and correct as necessary.
6. Replace CPUB.
7. BASEB F5E conduction check
8. Replace BASEB.
9. Replace DCPS.

• CPU board (CPUB)

Procedure
1. Check the type of the installed DF and replace it if it is a wrong one.
2. Check to see the [Service mode] -> [System 2] -> [ADF Settings] is correct. It corrects, when a model is different.
3. Check the connector between DFCB CN9-BASEB CN6E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
4. Check CPUB for proper installation and correct as necessary.
5. Replace DFCB.
6. Replace CPUB.
7. Replace BASEB.

Trouble detection condition • The scanner home sensor (PS21) is unable to detect the scanner located at its home position.
• The scanner home sensor (PS21) is unable to detect a scanner even when the scanner motor (M9) has been
driven to move the scanner over the maximum travelling distance.
• The scanner home sensor (PS21) detects the scanner when the scanner has moved the maximum travelling
distance from the position, at which it blocks the scanner home sensor (PS21).
