(2)Paper size error detection control
• To prevent incorrect printed pages, the size of the paper being conveyed is detected using the registration sensor or the PC transport
sensor of the optional paper feed unit.
• The length of the paper is detected based on the value calculated using the period of time that begins when the sensor is activated and
ends when it is deactivated for each paper source.
• For the paper feed unit, even if the PC transport sensor does not detect a paper size error, the downstream registration sensor makes an
error check again.
