The relay supports as many as 999 user-selectable bay configurations of which
25 are available in the relay. This section defines the one-line diagram and
illustrates the bay configurations supported in the relay.

Circuit Breaker Status Logic
The relay includes circuit breaker status logic for three circuit breaker. The
circuit breaker status logic uses the 52k CLSM (k = 1, 2, or 3) Relay Word bit
and open-phase detection logic to determine the state of Circuit Breaker, and
declare Circuit Breaker 1, 2, or 3 alarm conditions. A Circuit Breaker alarm
condition is declared by the circuit breaker status logic when Relay Word bit
52k_ALM asserts.

Control Logic
Introduction
Figure 12.1 and Figure 12.2 shows the disconnect logic that generates open
and close output signals necessary to perform the open and close disconnect
operations. Use the seal-in timers (89CSTm and 89OSTm) to monitor and
control disconnect operations. All disconnect control methods (HMI, ASCII,
SEL
OGIC control equations, and Fast Operate) drive the close and open
control logic in the relay.
