12-303 H Transport Interlock Open
The H Transport Interlock Sensor detected open.
Procedure
Block the H Transport Interlock Sensor with a sheet of paper (Figure 1). 012-303 is cleared.
YN
+5 VDC is measured between the H Transport Interlock Sensor P/J853-1 and -3
(Figure 2).
YN
Disconnect Finisher PWB P/J845. +5 VDC is measured between Finisher PWB
P845-A1 and -A3.
YN
Replace the Finisher PWB (PL 17.13) (Figure 3).
Repair the open circuit between Finisher PWB J845-A1 and -A3 and H Transport
Interlock Sensor J853-1 and -3.
+5 VDC is measured between Finisher PWB P/J845-A2 and ground.
YN
Replace the Finisher PWB (PL 17.13)
+5 VDC is measure between H Transport Interlock Sensor P/J853-2 and ground.
YN
Check the wire between the H Transport Interlock Sensor P/J853-2 and the Finisher
PWB P/J845-A2 for an open circuit or poor contact.
Replace the H Transport Interlock Sensor (PL 17.4).
Check misalignment between the H Transport Cover and the H Transport Interlock Sensor.
Check the H Transport Cover for improper installation, the Actuator for breakage and bending,
and the Magnet for improper mounting.
