6.6.3 DRUM DRIVE
[A]: Drum motor
[B]: Drum motor coupling
[C]: Drum shaft
Each PCU (Y, C, M, K) has an independent drum motor.
The drum motor [A] turns the drum motor coupling [B] that rotates the drum motor shaft [C].
During black-and-white copying and printing, only the black drum (K) rotates. The other
color drums (Y, M, C) do not rotate.
