wlan data rate-11n (access point)
Description
With this command, you assign data transmission speeds to the required WLAN interface.
The access point will then use only the selected data transmission speeds for
communication with the clients.
Note
This command is available only in access point mode.
Requirement
You are in the Interface Configuration mode of the WLAN interface.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli (config-if-wlan-0-X)#
The transmission standard IEEE 802.11n or IEEE 802.11n only is set.
The "Use selected data rates only" function is enabled.
Syntax
Call up the command with the following parameters:
wlan data rate-11n { show-MCS-indexes | {add | del} <index> | all | none }
The parameters have the following meaning:
Parameters
Description
show-MCS-indexes
Shows a list of the available data transmission speeds (MCS indexes).
add
The MCS index is assigned to the WLAN interface entered in the <in-
dex> parameter.
del
The MCS index is removed from the WLAN interface entered in the
<index> parameter.
index
MCS index
all
All available MCS indexes are assigned to the WLAN interface.
none
Only the first available MCS index is assigned to the WLAN interface.
The other MCS indexes are deselected.
Note
You need to enable at least one MCS index of the WLAN interface.
Result
The MCS indexes are assigned to the WLAN interface.
