Call up the command with the following parameters:
wlan mode { show-modes |<mode>}
The parameter has the following meaning:
Lists the transmission standards.
Value corresponding to a specif-
ic transmission standard.

IEEE 802.11a (5 GHz)
• g
IEEE 802.11g (2.4 GHz)
Is downwards compatible with IEEE 802.11b
•
n
IEEE 802.11n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz)
Is downwards compatible with IEEE 802.11a
and IEEE 802.11g
• n-only
IEEE 802.11n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz)
Is not downwards compatible with IEEE 802.11a
and IEEE 802.11g
Depending on the current configuration, some settings are not possible. In this case, a
message to this effect is displayed.
The transmission standard is specified.
You display the setting with the show wlan basic <wlan 0/X> command.
wlan mode (client)
Description
With this command, you specify the transmission standard.
Note
This command is only available in the client mode.
You are in the Interface Configuration mode of the WLAN interface.
