Note
To receive and process packets, the Ethernet MTU must include any extra bytes
that Layer-2 headers might require. To configure the IP MTU size, which is the
maximum size of the IP packet (IP Header + IP payload).
no mtu This command sets the default MTU size (in bytes) for the interface.
shutdown This command disables a port or range of ports.
Note
You can use the shutdown command on physical and port-channel (LAG)
interfaces, but not on VLAN routing interfaces.
no shutdown This command enables a port.
shutdown all This command disables all ports.
