enable password
configuration command to set a local password to
control access to the privileged EXEC mode.
The following shows an example of the command.

Mode Privileged EXEC
Parameter Description
password Password string. Range: 8-64 characters.
encrypted Encrypted password you entered, copied from
another switch configuration. The encrypted
password should be 128 characters long because the
assumption is that this password is already
encrypted with AES.
