Class Name The name of this class.
Committed Burst Size
(KB)
The committed burst size, used in simple policing.
Committed Rate
(Kbps)
The committed rate, used in simple policing.
Conform Action The current setting for the action taken on a packet
considered to conform to the policing parameters.
This is not displayed if policing is not in use for the
class under this policy.
Conform Color Mode The current setting for the color mode. Policing uses
either color blind or color aware mode. Color blind
mode ignores the coloration (marking) of the
incoming packet. Color aware mode takes into
consideration the current packet marking when
determining the policing outcome.
Conform COS The CoS mark value if the conform action is set-cos-
transmit.
Conform DSCP Value The DSCP mark value if the conform action is set-
dscp-transmit.
Conform IP
Precedence Value
The IP Precedence mark value if the conform action
is set-prec-transmit.
Drop Drop a packet upon arrival. This is useful for
emulating access control list operation using
DiffServ, especially when DiffServ and ACL cannot
co-exist on the same interface.
Exceed Action The action taken on traffic that exceeds settings that
the network administrator specifies.
Exceed Color Mode The current setting for the color of exceeding traffic
that the user may optionally specify.
