Description
Use the shutdown command to disable an Ethernet port.
Use the undo shutdown command to enable an Ethernet port.
By default, an Ethernet port is enabled.
Example
# Enable Ethernet1/0/1.
<Quidway> system-view
System View: return to User View with Ctrl+Z.
[Quidway] interface ethernet 1/0/1
[Quidway-Ethernet1/0/1] shutdown
[Quidway-Ethernet1/0/1] undo shutdown

Parameter
10: Specifies the port speed to 10 Mbps.
100: Specifies the port speed to 100 Mbps.
1000: Specifies the port speed to 1000 Mbps (this argument is valid for Gigabit ports
only).
auto: Specifies the port speed to the auto-negotiation mode.
