The remote engineID is not configured by default.

User Guidelines
A remote engine ID is required when an SNMP version 3 inform is configured. The
remote engine ID is used to compute the security digest for authenticating and
encrypting packets sent to a user on the remote host.
Example
switchxxxxxx(config)#
snmp-server engineID remote 1.1.1.1 11:AB:01:CD:23:44
45.17 show snmp engineID
To display the local SNMP engine ID, use the show snmp engineID Privileged
EXEC mode command.
Syntax
show snmp engineID
Parameters
This command has no arguments or keywords.

None

Privileged EXEC mode
