The IP address is removed.
Further notes
You enable the DHCP Relay Agent with the service dhcp-relay command.
You create the IP address with the
ip dhcp server command.
You display the IP addresses with the
show dhcp server command.

ip dhcp relay circuit-id option
Description
The Circuit ID is a sub option of the "DHCP Relay Information" option. The Circuit ID
contains information about the origin of the DHCP packet.
With this command, you specify the information contained in the Circuit ID.
The Circuit ID is encoded in the DHCP packet if the "DHCP relay information" option is
enabled.
Requirement
You are in the Global configuration mode.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli(config)#
Syntax
Call up the command with the following parameters:
ip dhcp relay circuit-id option [router-index] [vlanid] [recv-port]
The parameters have the following meaning:
Parameter
Description
Range of values / note
router-index
The router index is added to the Circuit
ID.
Default setting
vlanid
The VLAN ID is added to the Circuit ID. -
recv-prot
The Circuit ID is added to the receiving
port.
