Requirement
You are in the RIPv2 Router configuration mode.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli(config-rip)#
Syntax
Call up the command with the following parameters:
no distribute-list route-map <name(20)> {in | out}
The parameters have the following meaning:

name
Name of the routing table.
Maximum of 20 characters.
in
The filtering for incoming routing infor-
mation is disabled.

out
The filtering for outgoing routing infor-
mation is disabled.

Result
The filtering is disabled.

Description
This command enables the RIP protocol for an IP interface.
Requirement
You are in the RIPv2 Router configuration mode.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli(config-rip)#
Syntax
Call up the command with the following parameters:
network <ip-address>
The parameter has the following meaning:

ip-address
The IP address for which RIP will be
enabled.
Specify a valid IP address.
