Description
With this command, you enable MAC authentication for a port.
Requirement
You are in the Interface configuration mode.
The command prompt is as follows:

Syntax
Call the command without parameters:
dot1x mac-auth
Result
MAC authentication is enabled for a port.
Further notes
You also still need to enable MAC authentication for the device. You do this with the dot1x
mac-auth
command in the Global configuration mode.
You disable the function with the
no dot1x mac-auth command
