Requirement
You are in the OSPF Router configuration mode.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli(config-ospf)#
Syntax
Call up the command with the following parameters:
default-information originate [(
[always]
[metric <metric-value (0-0xffffff)>]
[metric-type <type (1-2)>])]
The parameters have the following meaning:

Result
The function is enabled.
Further notes
You disable the function with the no default-information originate command.
