clear install failure-reason
To remove the upgrade failure reason log created during in-service software upgrades (ISSUs) on the
Cisco MDS 9124 Fabric Switch, use the clear install failure-reason command.
Caution If you remove the upgrade failure reason log, then you will not have any information to help you debug
in the event of an ISSU failure.
clear install failure-reason
Syntax Description This command has no other arguments or keywords.
Defaults None.
Command Modes EXEC mode.

Usage Guidelines This command is supported only on the Cisco MDS 9124 Fabric Switch.
Examples The following example removes all upgrade failure reason logs on a Cisco MDS 9124 Fabric
Switch.
switch# clear install failure-reason
