● The VPN connection is established when necessary (on demand).
● You are in the IPSEC CONNECTION configuration mode.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli(onfig-conn-X)#
Call up the command with the following parameters:
timeout <sec(0-1000)>
The parameter has the following meaning:
Period Enter the period of time in sec-
The period of time is configured
You display this setting and other information with the show ipsec connections command.
You configure the
on demand setting with the operation command.
With this command, you specify that during connection establishment a virtual IPv4 address
is requested from the VPN remote station.
You are in the IPSEC CONNECTION configuration mode.
