10 Customer specific functions
10.1 Approve or block key programming
If you approve key programming, this function is no longer available.

The following settings are available for key programming:
"Disab.": Key programming is blocked.
"Enab.": Key programming is approved.
Mode level: 5
<Etc> / <Device operation>
Touch <Key programm.> until the required setting is displayed.
10.2 Renaming soft keys
With only a few exceptions, you can rename softkeys to call up simple functions as you
wish. The following types of softkeys in particular cannot be renamed
:
Softkeys to start functions, e. g. <Release total>
Softkeys to access menu levels
Softkeys to access tables
Modified softkey labels can be replaced at any time either temporarily or
permanently by standard labeling

Approve key-programming, see page 102.
Select mode level.
Open the menu level for the softkey you want to change.
Press <Alt> and <Record>.
From the "Edit softkey design:" menu, select and confirm the "Modify softkey text"
function.
Press the key you want to change.
If you are not permitted to change the name, a message is displayed "Changing soft-
key texts not permitted.". When you acknowledge the message
, the function is ended.
If you are permitted to change the name, an input field appears.
Enter the relevant text and confirm your input.
