If during transport, a package

longer than 500 mm is detected on the infeed and sepa-
ration belt, the labeling belt end near the weighing belt

is pneumatically swiveled down.
Thus, the overlapping part of the package does not touch the labeling belt

and the
package can be weighed
. After weighing, the swiveled-down labeling belt is lifted and the
package is transported to the labeler.
Required settings
The swivel-mounted labeling conveyor has to activated by the Bizerba service once. To be
able to work with the swivel-mounted conveyor, the weighing belt has to be set to the
<Weighing Start/Stop> operating mode, see page 264.

The device can be equipped with optional V belts. V belts are oblique adjustable conveyor
belts that allow safe transport of bulky and difficult products such as cabbage
, salad, chick-
en etc.
