31.1 Package guidance
The device may be equipped with an adjustable package guidance (alignment rails). Un-
der certain circumstances
, packages of critical dimensions must be laterally guided during
transport to avoid toppling over. For this reason, optional package guidances can be
mounted onto the conveyor belts.
31.2 Manual package guidance
In case of different package sizes the alignment rails of the package guidance need to be
adjusted to the package sizes accordingly
. The distance between the alignment rails
should be slightly larger than the package width.
31.2.1 Centered package alignment
With the two-part conveyor belts usually a centered package alignment is used.
