13 Weights and ingredients
13.1 Select weight type
With the weight type, you determine the unit and the number of places after the decimal
point for displaying the weight value
. You can enter the weight type as follows for certain
situations:
– in PLU data, see page 132
– for the current labeling job with the function described below
The following settings are possible:
– "kg .0001"
– "kg ,001"
– "kg ,01"
– "kg ,1"
– "kg"
– "lb ,0001"
– "lb ,001"
– "lb ,01"
– "lb ,1"
– "lb"
If you select a weight type with a different number of digits, all the
weight values saved in the device are adjusted (fixed weight, tare,
weight totals).
Mode level: 2
Changing a weight type is only permitted in certain scales and for fixed weight
.
In the following scales types you can switch between kg and lb:
kg lb
6/15 kg, 2/5 g 15/30 lb, 0.005/0.01 lb
15/30 kg, 5/10 g 30/60 lb, 0.01/0.02lb
Changing the weight type for the current labeling job has to be approved by Bizerba Serv-
ice.

The weight type is changed for the current labeling job. The change is not saved with the
PLU data.
