19.3.8 Delete code structure rule
Delete the code structure rules you no longer require.
Mode level: 3 (local) or 4 (global)
<Code> / <Delete code struct. No.>
Enter and confirm code structure number, see page 77.
In order to delete the code structure rule, answer security check with <yes>.
19.4 Load code structure rule into code field
When using standard labels, you can only print a barcode in code field 1. Depending on
the layout you can print barcodes in up to seven code fields on customer labels.
Allocation of code structure rules to the individual code fields is usually handled in PLU da-
ta and is called up together with the PLU. With this function you can enter or change the
allocation for the current labeling job.
Example: Code field 1. The procedure for other code fields is the same.
Mode level: 2
<Article data> / <Code> / <Etc> / <Code struc. in code fld> / <Code struc. i. c.field1>
Enter and confirm the number of the code field in which you want to print the code
structure rule, see page 77.
19.5 Enter or change the code substring for the current labeling job
In code strings you can enter all kinds of data such as PLU number, manufacturer number,
etc.
Comply precisely with the number of digits dictated by the code struc-
ture rule when entering the code substrings
. If a code substring is lon-
ger than is permitted by the code structure rule, only the permitted num-
ber of digits will be printed, starting at the beginning. If a code substring
is too short, processing is blocked.
Code substrings are usually entered in PLU data and called up together with the PLU.
With this function you can enter the code substring for the current labeling job directly or
temporarily change the code substring that was called up with the PLU. If necessary, you
can apply your entries to PLU data.
Example: Code substring 1. The procedure for con substrings 2 to 7 is the same.
Mode level: 2
<Article data> / <Code> / <Code data> / <Code sub- string 1>
Enter value. Comply with the number of digits dictated by the code structure.
To apply the value to the PLU data, activate the field "->Database [Etc]" .
If the field is not activated, the value is only used for the current labeling job.
