27.1.2 Saving line backup
In the case of a line with several devices you can save the data from all devices in one
work step. The system bus address of the devices may not be subsequently modified.
Macros saved with the display and operating unit GT-12 C, the GT-12 C
saves and not the device. Therefore these macros are missing in a line
back-up of the device.
Requirements:

The devices that belong to the line are defined, see page 371.
– The devices are connected with each other via the system bus.
– The devices are switched on.
– Mode level: 5
Make sure that the storage medium is inserted in device.
<Storage medium> / <Line backup> / <Store line>
Enter the name of the data backup. Comply with the rules for DOS file names.
Press <ok>.
A table occurs. The table columns contain the devices that belong to the line. The ta-
ble rows contain different data groups
. You can select the device from which you want
to save data. Non-existing data groups cannot be selected.
Select data
Select or deselect a data group for each device: Touch the table field until the re-
quired setting occurs
