21.9 Use numerators
Numerators create consecutive numbers. The device can print a consecutive number on
single labels and also on totals labels for the totals *1 - *3. You can configure which nu-
merators are used in which way and when they are deleted, see page 281. You can as-
sign a value range and a start value to activated numerators, see page 283.
21.9.1 Configuring individual numerator
In this configuration you define whether and how the single numerator should be used and
when it should be deleted
. The following settings are possible:
<Without single numera-
tor>:
The numerator is deactivated.
<With single numerator>: The numerator is activated. The numerator is deleted when it
exceeds the predefined range of values or maximum number of
digits.
<Single numer. as con-
stant>:
The numerator is activated. The value of the numerator remains
constant. Application cases:
Printing one of the numerator values sent by the EDP.
In a system network: Printing one of the numerator values
sent by the master device to the slave device.
<Clear single numer.by
*1>:
The numerator is activated. After Total 1 and next single label
have been printed, it is reset.
<Clear single numer.by
*2>:
The numerator is activated. After Total 2 and next single label
have been printed, it is reset.
<Clear single numer.by
*3>:
The numerator is activated. After Total 3 and next single label
have been printed, it is reset.
<Clear sin.num. by *A,
*PG, *D>:
The numerator is activated. It is reset once the article total,
product group total or daily total and next single label have
been printed.
<Number of PLU totals>: The numerator is activated. It counts each article. The numera-
tor value corresponds to the piece number in the current PLU
total.
<Sin.num.no.of pckg.*2>: The numerator is activated. The number of individual packages
in Total 2 is used as the numerator value.
Mode level: 5
<Main menu> / <Numerator> / <Single numerator>
Press softkey with respective setting.
