19.7.2 EAN-D3 code
The EAN-D3 code is formed from a total of 24 digits. This number of digits is binding. Only
numeric data can be encoded. The minimum module width is 0.27 mm. The light zones
amount to 9 modules each.
The combinations of barcode symbols are known as Block 2 and Block 6 according to
UPC Specifications. Block 6 is formed from the 1/2EAN8 and EAN8 symbols. Block 2 is
represented by the EAN13 symbol. Each block is concluded by a symbol check digit. Block
2 and block 6 can be allocated behind each other or over each other.

EAN13-ID number: Manufacturer and PLU number X1-X12.
