20.4.1 Entering package height
By defining the package height, the piston is started in such a manner as to ensure that
the label is always applied to the same position on the package. If the database is config-
ured accordingly, you may save the package height in the article data and in the automatic
labeler data. You may temporarily change the package height for the current labeling job.
If required, modifications can be saved to the database.
Labeler type: <Quick piston lab.>
Mode level: 1
Enter the package height for the current labeling job
<Device menu> / <Etc> / <Height of package>
Enter value.
To save the value to the database, activate the "->Database [Etc]" field.
If the field is not activated, the value is only used for the current labeling job.
Press <OK>.
To save to the database, enter and confirm a password for mode level 3 (local) or
4 (global).
20.4.2 Entering gripper offset
After printing, the label is held by the vacuum nozzles of the gripper and transported under
the labeling piston
. If a label is not transported correctly, you can change the position of
the gripper when it takes hold of the label. A positive value moves the gripper towards the
piston.
