2.4 Identification plate
The identification plate is located at the scale under the weighing belt. The identification
plate may differ in design depending on device and country of installation.

2.5 Intended use
The device is designed for commercial and industrial use in multi-shift operations.
–
The device may only be used for labeling packaged products or foodstuffs.
– It may not be used to label unpackaged foodstuffs.
– It may only be used in industrial or commercial fields.
– The device may not be used in potentially explosive areas.
– The goods may only be fed to the scale using the device conveyor belts.
– The packages need to be fed continuously to the device with regular intervals be-
tween the packages. Packages must be arranged in such a way that the packages do
not get pushed together on the conveyor belts of the device.
– The packages must be positioned on the middle of the belt when they are conveyed
over the scale. Use the appropriate package guiding device. Please contact your Bi-
zerba trade consultant for details.
– The device must only be transported with appropriate means of transportation and if it
was secured accordingly.
– No constructional modifications must be made to the device.
– Do not stand on the device and do not use the belts as deposit station.
– Always operate the device with the conveyor belts. Dangerous spots are accessible
without conveyor belts.
