You can also create a new article by calling up an existing article for
processing, editing data and save the article under a new PLU number
and customer number
, if existing.
12.5 Opening article for processing
The article can be saved in the database as follows:

only under one PLU number
– under a fixed combination of PLU and customer number
The article call-up for labeling as well as the article call-up for processing, both depend on
the configuration of the database. Depending on the configuration the input window of this
function varies.
The articles can be called up as follows:
– Call up via PLU number if no customer number is allocated to the articles.
– Call-up via PLU number and customer number if both numbers are required for identi-
fication.
Depending on the configuration the article can be searched by means of the following da-
ta, see page 77:
– PLU number
– Customer No.
– Article text
Mode level 3 (local) or 4 (global)
Mode level 3: <PLU> / <PLU data local>
or
Mode level 4: <PLU> / <PLU data global only>
or
Mode level 4: <PLU> / <PLU data glob.+local>
Enter existing article number and customer number, if available or take it from a list,
see page 77.

Use <Article text> to open a list of available article texts, select an entry and confirm.
