15.4.2 Managing the date text in the database
You can manage date texts in the database and assign them to PLUs via the date text
number. When a PLU is changed, the assigned date text is accessed automatically.
If you change a date text in the database, the change is applied to all
those PLUs to which the date text is allocated
.
You can also start this function from mode level 2. Initially, the proce-
dure is the same as entering a date text for the current labeling job
, see
page 185. If you press <Save> after editing, you are prompted to enter
a password. After entering and confirming the password for mode lev-
el 3 (save locally) or 4 (save globally), the continued procedure follows
the description from Entering the Parameter Number, mentioned below.
Mode level: 3 (local) or 4 (global)
<Date text> / <Date text editor>
<Load>
Enter and confirm date text number, see page 77.
Edit text in the text editor, see page 167.
<Save>
Enter and confirm the date text number you want, see page 77.
If a date text already exists for the entered number, a security check prompt appears.
If you answer <yes> the text is saved in the database under the entered number
.
Close text editor via <Exit>.
