31.3.4 Entering the package width
Here you may enter the package width for motorized guide rail adjustment or modify a
package width called up with the PLU or automatic labeler data
. If package width is man-
aged in the automatic labeler data, the entered value can be saved in the database if re-
quired.
If the package width is specified in the automatic labeler data, the pack-
age width of the associated automatic labeler data is set at PLU
change.
Mode level: 1
<Device menu> / <Guiding rails> / <Package width>
Enter the max. package width in mm.
To save the value in automatic labeler data, activate the "->Database [Etc]" field.
If the field is not activated, the value is only used for the current labeling job.
Press <OK>.
Input area:
Min.:
78 mm
Max.: Depends on the specifications in mode level 5.
When entering values outside these parameters, a message containing
the valid range is displayed
.
31.3.5 Automatic guide rail adjustment via softkeys
If necessary, the guide rails can be manually adjusted to the relevant aperture width using
the <Guid. rails ON> and <Guid. rails OFF>softkeys.
Mode level: 1
<Device menu> / <Guiding rails>
Call up guide rail adjustment:
<Guid. rails ON> Increase aperture width of guide rails.
<Guid. rails OFF>
Decrease aperture width of guide rails.
<Guid. rails STOP> Stop adjustment after reaching the corresponding position.
After stopping motorized guide rail adjustment, the set position is displayed in the
<Package width> softkey.
