20.2.7 Enter transverse position of labeler

If the device is equipped with a motorized transverse adjustment for labelers, the labeler

can automatically be moved to the desired position when the article is changed. To do so,

save the transverse position in the automatic labeler parameter table associated to the ar-

ticle, see page 250. For the current labeling job, you may directly enter or change the

transverse position of the labeler.

The motorized transverse adjustment for labelers is available and activated.

Mode level: 1

Modify the labeler's transverse position for the current labeling job

Enter value and confirm.

The labeler is adjusted in transverse direction to transport direction. The setting is not ap-

plied to the database

20.2.8 Adjusting the transverse position of the labeler via softkeys

If the device is equipped with a motorized transverse adjustment for the labeler, the labeler

can be moved in transversal direction by means of softkeys

. The transverse position can

also be adjusted automatically using the keys located on the labeler. If the transverse posi-

tion is saved under the automatic labeler parameters, it is changed according to these pa-

rameters in the event of a PLU change.

The following functions are available:

<Labeler FOWARD>: Start transverse adjustment forwards.

<Labeler BACKWARD> Start transverse adjustment backwards.

<Labeler STOP> Stop transverse adjustment.

After stopping the motorized transverse adjustment via the softkeys, the set transverse po-

sition is displayed in the <Cross posit. labeler> softkey.

The motorized transverse adjustment for labelers is available and activated.
