6.8.1 Adjusting air supply for grippers
The labels are removed from the printer by the grippers and conveyed beneath the pack-
ages to be labeled. Up to eight grippers with integrated vacuum nozzles are available for
the different label widths.
The vacuum nozzles must be switched on or off individually, according to the label width.
Determination of gripper nozzles

Remove label from backing paper.
Apply it left-aligned.
Count number of covered grippers.
The illustration shows that the vacuum
for the four grippers marked with arrows
must be switched on for the label
