12.6.3 Copy reference target
Changes to the reference target have an effect on all those PLUs to which the modified
data record is allocated. If you want to change an existing parameter data record for the
currently processed PLU only, make a copy first and then save the copy under the new
parameter number and then make your changes.
PLU data table is open.
Place the cursor in the row of the table in which the reference target is to be copied
and changed
.
Press <Create copy from reference>.
Enter the parameter number for the copy or use the softkey, <Next availb. no.>, to
have it set automatically, see page
77.
If you are using a parameter number that has already been as-
signed, you will overwrite the data saved under this parameter
number.
Press <OK>.
The parameter number for the copy is assigned to the PLU attribute. Use <Edit reference>
to edit the copy, see page 139.
