31.10.5 Setting label parameters
Label positioning
This parameter determines the label posi-
tion on the package
. Change this value by
pressing the <+> or <-> key.

If the product sensor is located at 100 mm in front of the dispenser tongue and the label
shall be placed at a distance of 37
.5 mm from the product leading edge, the value must be
137.5 mm. If the product sensor setting refers to the product trailing edge, the product
length has to be deducted from the value to be entered.
This value depends on the belt speed. If belt speed is not correctly set,
label positioning is incorrect too
.
Label protrusion
This parameter determines the label posi-
tion on the dispenser tongue
. Change this
value by pressing the <+> or <-> key.

Check label protrusion by means of test labeling!
In case of excessive label protrusion, the label dispenser emits two or
more labels per product
.
Speed
This parameter determines the speed at
which the label dispenser applies the labels
to the packages. Change this value by
pressing the <+> or <-> key.

The speed is specified in meter per minute (m/min). It corresponds to the conveying belt
speed. In case of wrap-around labeling
, it corresponds to the belt speed of the lateral belt.
The speed can also be set during operation.
