20.9.3 Selecting activation criteria
If a package ejector or dividers are integrated in the conveying direction and if the respec-
tive distance in front of the light barrier is preset, you can chose when the package ejector
or a divider is to be activated. Example: Package ejector. The procedure for dividers is an-
alog.
The following settings for the package ejector are supported:
<PE:Static passive:> Autom. labeler without package ejector or with deactivated
package ejector. Standard setting.
<PE:Static active>: The package ejector remains constantly activated.
<PE:Active on error>: The package ejector is activated with faulty or non-labeled
packages.
<PE:Depend. on Min/
Max>:
During weight class-specific labeling the package ejector is acti-
vated according to the settings in the weight class table.
<PE:On error and Min/
Max>:
The package ejector is activated in case of wrongly activated
packages and according to the settings in the weight class ta-
ble.
<PE:Chan.when to-
tal1reach.>:
The package ejector is activated with achieved and released to-
tal 1 and deactivated if total 1 is achieved and released.
<PE:Chan.when to-

<PE: Metal detector>: The package ejector is activated if the metal detector detects a
metal-containing package.
<Ejector.. w. conveying>: This setting can be selected in addition to another activation cri-
teria.
<Active>: The package ejector is automatically activated when
switching to conveying mode.
<Pass.>: The package ejector is not automatically activated.
Standard setting.
Mode level: 1
Select activation criteria for package ejector.
<Device menu> / <Optional equipment> / <Dividers> / <PE:Activation criteria>
Press softkey with respective setting.
Tap <Ejector.. w. conveying> until the required setting is highlighted.
