31.3.2 Defining operating mode of guide rails
The following operating modes are available for the motorized guide rails:
"One-sid."
The outer guide rail remains fixed. To adjust the relative pack-
age width, only one guide rail is moved by means of a motor.
"Symet." Both guide rails are moved symmetrically. This allows centered
package guidance on the conveyor belts.
Mode level: 1
<Device menu> / <Guiding rails> / <Calibration guid. rails> / <Oper. mode guid. rail>
Tap the softkey until the required setting is highlighted.
31.3.3 Specifying the maximum package width
Here you may specify the max. package width. Depending on this specification, it is impos-
sible to enter greater values in mode level 2
, 3 or 4.
Mode level: 5
<Automat> / <Transport equipment> / <Max. package width>
Enter and confirm the max. package width in mm.
