10.7.2 Define a menu structure for softkeys
In mode level T you can define softkeys in menu structures with up to eight levels. At the
highest level you can copy up to 16 softkeys and in the lower levels up to eight softkeys,
see page 121.
The use of submenus provides the following advantages:
– You can protect certain functions with a password.
– You can copy more than 16 softkeys in mode level T.
– You can group softkeys.
Key programming is approved, see page 102.
Mode level: T
Press <2nd.> and <Record>.
Tap the access softkey to the submenu.
Select and confirm "Submenu".
Enter labeling for the softkey and confirm your input (maximum of two lines whereby a
new line has to be marked by an empty space
, hyphen or punctuation character).
If you don't want to protect the submenu with a password: Select and confirm "no".
or
If you want to protect the submenu with a password: Select and confirm "yes".
If necessary enter and confirm the password.
Reenter new password and confirm it.
The submenu is now created.
The
icon marks which softkey is the access softkey to a submenu.
The <#> character on the softkey identifies it as being password protected
