21.8.3 Configuring batch number
This is where you define what is printed as batch number on suitable customer labels. The
following settings are possible:
<Without batch number>: Batch numbers are not printed on the label (standard setting).
<Batch number as con-
stant>:
The batch number set for the device is printed, see page 280.
<Only print batch num-
ber>:
– Print the batch number sent by EDP.
– In a system network: The batch number sent by the master
device to the slave device is printed (setting at slave de-
vice).
<+1 for reset indiv nu-
merator>:
For each automatic reset of the individual numerator, (for exam-
ple at the end of a value range or when a total preselection is
reached) the batch number is increased by one.
<= Total 1 numerator>: The value for the Total1 numerator is printed as the batch num-
ber.
<= Total 2 numerator>: The value for the Total2 numerator is printed as the batch num-
ber.
Mode level: 5
<Main menu> / <Numerator> / <Batch number>
Press softkey with respective setting.
21.8.4 Entering batch number
The value entered here is printed as the batch number on suitable customer labels.
Mode level: 2
During configuration of batch number
<Batch number as constant> was set.
<Article data> / <Numbers + values> / <Batch number>
Enter and confirm batch numbers.
21.8.5 Entering lot number
You can allocate different articles to a lot (e. g. customer, container) via the lot number
printed on the labels
. This function allows you to set the value of the lot number.
Mode level: 2
The following prerequirements apply when printing lot numbers
:
– No device number exists.
– Operator number printing is not activated, see page 279.
