28 Maintenance
28.1 General information
Only if maintenance and service are run regularly the device and its functions are secure.
It is absolutely important that the maintenance cycles are maintained
. The cleaning and
maintenance plans enable an overview of all cleaning measures and planable mainte-
nance activities.
If you have any questions or problems regarding cleaning and/or maintenance works,
please contact the Bizerba Service.
28.2 Safety measures
The maintenance works require knowledge of machine and safety technology as well as
mechanics and
/or electronics. Therefore, the maintenance works must only be run be au-
thorized personnel. This applies especially for all electronic works.
When carrying out cleaning and maintenance works outside the switch
cabinet, switch off maintenance switch and unplug mains switch
. Switch
of compressed air supply.
DANGER Electrical voltage in the switch cabinet even when the main switch
is switched off!
Risk of death due to electrical shock.
– Before carrying out work in the switch cabinet, disconnect the pow-
er connector.
– Work in the switch cabinet may only be carried out by qualified
trade personnel or Bizerba service technicians.
WARNING Compressed air supply remains on when device is switched off -
also if power supply is disconnected
!
When working on the device risk of injury at compressed-air oper-
ated device parts.
– Switch of compressed air supply before start working on the de-
vice.
