20.11 Signal lamp for paper status
If a signal lamp is connected to the fault output of the device, select here the paper status
that activates the signal lamp. The following settings are possible:
<On paper supply>: The signal lamp alerts that the status message
<Paper supply?> is displayed.
<On label roll end>: The signal lamp is not activated until the status message
<On label roll end> is displayed. Then labeling is no longer pos-
sible.
Mode level: 1
<Device menu> / <Error handling> / <Paper status>
Press <On paper supply> or <On label roll end> to define the time when the message
is to appear.
20.12 Polarities
You can determine the active signal level for different optional equipment as well as inputs
and outputs. The following settings are possible
:
"+": Positive logic. A signal change from 0 V to +24 V is an active
signal. Standard setting.
"–": Negative logic. A signal change of +24 V to 0 V is an active sig-
nal.
20.12.1 Setting polarity for control light barriers
Here you can set the polarities for the control light barriers of the package ejector and the
dividers:
