"Half-daysymbol": Select half-day symbol.
Possible settings:
–
<W/o>: Do not use a half-day symbol.
– <V/N>: Use V for morning and N for afternoon.
– <V/N>: Use the French half-day symbols, e.g. "M" for
morning (matin), "A" for afternoon (après-midi).
"Preview (Date 1)": Shows the effect of your settings in the table rows "Month nota-
tion", "Format" and "Separator" as a preview based on an ex-
ample with date 1.

16.5.5 Select how to write the date
This is where you select how the month is displayed and which separator is used.
The following settings are possible
:
<Month Num. xx.08.xx>: Numeric display of month, period as separator.
<Month A/N xxAUGxx>: Alphanumeric display of month, no separator.
<Month A/N xx.AUG.xx>: Alphanumeric display of month, period as separator.
<Month Rom. xxVIIIxx>: Display of month in Roman numerals, no separator.
<Month Rom. xx.VIII.xx>: Display of month in Roman numerals, period as separator.
How the date is written can be influenced by this function too:
<Data formatting>. If you change the setting of the <Date notation>
function, the table for the <Data formatting> function is automatically
adjusted.
