31.15.1 Selecting packages to be checked

Select the packages whose bar code has to be checked. The following settings are possi-

ble:

"Off":

No code check at all.

"All packages": The labels of all labeled packages are checked.

"With internal print": Only labels of packages labeled by means of the internal label

printer are checked.

"Printing via channel A"

to "Printing via channel

G":

Only labels printed by the printer of the specified channel are

checked.

Mode level: 5

Tap softkey with respective setting.

31.15.2 Entering evaluation time

When a label is read successfully, the code checker outputs a "Good-Read" message. If

this signal is not transmitted after reading the code

, the error message "Scanner 1: Code

ilegible." is output upon expiry of the evaluation time entered here. Then the package can

be ejected, for example.

Enter and confirm evaluation time in ms.

31.15.3 Entering gate width

Enter here the scanning window width (gate width).

Mode level: 5

Enter and confirm gate width in mm.

31.15.4 Entering gate offset

Enter here the gate offset, that means the distance between the scanning window and the

front side of the package in conveying direction

Mode level: 5

<Scanner1: gate offset>

Enter and confirm gate offset in mm.
