7.6 Data recording and administration
7.6.1 Entering and saving text
To enter a one-line text a keyboard appears underneath the input field. This comprises not
only numeric and letter keys but also keys of the user interface
, see page 66.

In some cases savings can only be made either for the current labeling
or into database, see page

Multi-line texts can be entered with a text editor, see page 167.
7.6.2 Recording and saving numerical value
The expected format of the numerical value is preset in the input window. If the presetting
contains a comma, it remains unchanged during input
. You do not need to enter the com-
ma.
A keyboard occurs beside the input window.
To enter numerical values the following keys are available in addition to the numerical
keys.
<+/-> Change signs in front of input. Only released for functions that
permit a negative input.
<Clear> Clear input.
<Enter> Confirm input.
Record numerical value with numerical keys.
or
Set numerical value with cursor.
If necessary invert <+/-> sign.
Confirm input.
