8 Setting display and keyboard layout
8.1 Setting language and characters
The following language-related settings can be made on the device, largely independent
from each other:

Setting operating language, see page 87

8.1.1 Setting operating language
The display and menu texts of the user interface as well as standard inscriptions of the
softkeys are shown in the operating language
.
The following settings are possible in the standard equipment:
– "Deutsch"
– "English"
– "Français"
– "Italiano"
– "Português"
– "Español"
Other languages may be available. Subsidiaries have the option to load
own translations
