19.7.3 Industrial code
The data structure of industrial codes can be selected as you wish. For the evaluation
process, it must be known how the data are to be interpreted. A legible optical character
row is not stipulated for industry codes.
19.7.4 Logistics codes ITF-14
The ITF-14 is displayed by characters in Code2/5 interleaved. Only numeric data can be
encoded.
Suggestions for code structure rule in ITF
-14
ITF16: Constant{xxx}, code substr.1{12-digit}
ITF Add on: Weight{5-digit, decimal place, intern}
x: Dispatch unit number
xxx: Space plus two-digit number for dispatch unit
19.7.5 Logistics codes Maxicode
A maxicode is almost square and has a fixed size with a small tolerance range. Because
of its square form, it is not output rotated. The printout is only allowed with 8
-dot bars and
12-dot bars. The Module width is not evaluated.
