In the GS1-128, "Start"and"End"do not refer to individual pieces of code content

, but to

complete AI identifiers and their related content. Specify the first and last AI identifier rep-

resenting the content you want to print.

19.6.5 Print sub-code string

License "CODE_PART_

PRING" is available.

Print on customer labels including additional code number fields for printing separate code

strings.

Separate code string printing is switched on, see page 229.

Code type is not EAN-D3-Code.

If you only want to print part of the code string, press <Part code str.1>, enter start

and end and confirm

By tapping the <Space part1> and <AI part1> softkeys, apply the setting you want.

19.6.6 Select code field for RFID label (smart label)

If your device has a write unit fr RFID labels, see page 234, determine here which code

field on the RFID label (smart label

) will be printed on.

Select and confirm code field.

19.7 Features of individual code types

19.7.1 EAN13 or UPC-A code

The following sizes are supported if you have a resolution of 8 dot/mm:

– Size less than SC0 (2 dot/module)

– In-between size between SC3 and SC4 (3 dot/module)

– SC6 (4 Dot/Module)

The following sizes are supported if you have a resolution of 6 dot/mm:

– SC2 (2 Dot/Module)

– SC6 (3 Dot/Module)
