Step 1 In node view, click the Maintenance > DWDM > APC tabs. 
Step 2 Click Refresh.
Step 3 Return to your originating procedure (NTP).
NTP-G78 View ROADM Node Power Equalization
Step 1 Complete the “DLP-G46 Log into CTC” task on page 2-25. If you are already logged in, continue with 
Step 2.
Step 2 In node view, click the Maintenance > DWDM > ROADM Power Monitoring tabs.
Step 3 On the Power Monitoring tab, view the following east-to-west (E > W) and west-to-east (W > E) power 
information:
• Padd—Add power. This power level is represented by the red bar.
• Ppt—Pass-through power. This power level is represented by the yellow bar.
• Pout—Output power. This power level is represented by the blue bar. It shows the per-channel 
(wavelength) power at the 32WSS output (COM_TX) port.
Purpose This task refreshes the DWDM APC information. 
Tools/Equipment A node provisioning plan prepared by Cisco MetroPlanner is required.
Prerequisite Procedures All procedures in the following chapters:
Chapter 3, “Turn Up a Node”
Chapter 6, “Turn Up Network”
