Note The Section Trace tab appears only if you have created a PPM for the card.
Step 6 In node view, double-click the MXP_2.5G_10G or MXP_2.5G_10E card where you want to change the 
section trace settings.
SyncMsgIn Enables synchronization status messages (S1 byte), 
which allow the node to choose the best timing 
source. (This parameter does not appear for the 
MXP_2.5G_10E trunk port.)

When checked, sends a DUS message on the S1 
byte. (This parameter does not appear for the 
MXP_2.5G_10E trunk port.)
